Hide AdCod and whiting as well as bonus bass are the species to keep the shore anglers busy, with flatties and nuisance doggies and pout feeding on ad bait presented in front of them.
Out on the boats, cod, whiting, bass, plaice, rays and even black bream are still snatching presented baits. Bass shore fishing on soft plastics and surface poppers is still worth a go if the water clarity clears in colourisation – working around the early and evening tides is best.
