Haywards Heath Rugby Club's U11's excel in Land Rover Cup
Heath were drawn in a tough pool with Farnham, Chobham, Teddington and Beckenham.
The allocated pitch was quite narrow which restricted open play but nevertheless, the team performed extremely well, winning all their games comfortably, without conceding a single try.

Hide AdThere is no progression at this age in the Land Rover series, but hearing Bognor had also won all their pool games, the Heath coaches organised an extra game on the spot with the support of the organisers.
The hope of tougher competition rallied the Heath boys, who simply shocked Bognor from the starting whistle.
The game proved rather one sided and was conceded by the opposition shortly after half time, attracting attention to the excellent play of Heath U11s.
A few of the Harlequins players were on hand at Staines, and came to chat with the U11 squad.
