Photos reveal what school life was like in 1930s Worthing
John’s father attended Sussex Road School, but is not sure if he was in the photo of the Heritage Boys.
He said: “I suspect he had left just before the photograph was taken, although the spectacled guy, in the middle of the back row, has attracted close scrutiny.

John also sent in more photos from his father’s time at Sussex Road School.
He added: “We are uncertain of the precise date, but feel these attached pictures were taken in the early 1930s.
“It is possible that some boys featured may still be alive, although my father, the boy with specs, died in March 2012, aged 93, thus any surviving will be in their mid-nineties.”
