Pat Etheridge won the Mannings Heath ladies Breakthrough Cancer stableford with a narrow countback victory in freezing conditions last week.

She signed for 33 points in the silver division , as did Joy Reineck, while Lynne Jones took third, a point behind.

In the bronze division, Margaret Edwards carded 30 points to win by one from Carole Bauckham, with Joan Mahoney third (20points).

Meanwhile, Mannings’ seniors beat Cranleigh to take a minimum of third place on their Winter League debut.
