Steyning Town learning to pick up ugly points
Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Mile Oak saw Steyning come from 1-0 through Adam Burton’s poached finish, and extended their unbeaten run to seven games.
That sequence of results in Steyning’s best since winning promotion back to Division 2 in 2002.

Hide Ad“It’s our best run of form in 11 years,” Gurney said. “The difference now is that in the last two games we have managed to pick up results even though we have not played well. That would not have happened in the past, we have learned how to play badly and still pick up points.”
