United have been in red hot form under caretaker boss Solskjaer and have scored 17 goals and conceded just three since he took charge last month. They ran out 1-0 winners away to Tottenham in their last game.

Manchester United are sixth in the Premier League, level on points with fifth-placed Arsenal, and six points behind Chelsea, who occupy the final Champions League position.

Brighton's four-game unbeaten run came to an end when they lost 1-0 at home to Premier League leaders Liverpool last weekend.

The Seagulls are 13th in the table, eight points clear of the relegation zone.

The game gets underway at 3pm from Old Trafford. United beat Brighton twice at home last season, 1-0 in the Premier League and 2-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals. However, Albion have tasted victory in their last two matches against United, 1-0 in May and 3-2 in August.
