Brighton had a dreadful home record last year and recorded just one victory on home turf throughout 2020.
Albion head coach Graham Potter received plenty of stick for his team selection in the previous match where they lost 1-0 to Arsenal.
Potter will once again be without the considerable talents of Tariq Lamptey who is struggling with a hamstring injury.
Danny Welbeck (knee), Adam Lallana (groin) and Steven Alzate (illness) are also doubts.

1. Robert Sanchez
Performed well since his introduction to the first team. The 6ft 6in Spaniard looks a very confident and calm goalkeeper
2. Ben White
Dropped for the Arsenal match after criticism following the 2-2 draw at West Ham. A classy performer and I expect him to line-up on the right side of the defensive trio
3. Lewis Dunk
The inspirational skipper will be determined to start 2021 on a positive note and help lift Albion away from the drop zone
4. Adam Webster
Been one of Albion's most consistent performers. Has played in a number of defensive positions this season but I expect him to be on the left side of the defensive trio today
