Emergency services were called to a van fire on the A281, in Broadbridge Heath, on Saturday (January 31).

Firefighters attended the incident at around 6pm where a transit van was ablaze.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the vehicle was ‘destroyed’ by the fire and they believe the blaze was accidental.

Two breathing apparatus and two hose reels were used by crews to tackle the fire.

No one is believed to have been hurt in the incident.
