Fire at Southwick pub causes Friday night customer evacuation

Three engines were called to the Schooner Pub in Albion Street, which overlooks Shoreham harbour, at around 6.30pm, a fire service spokesperson said.
Firefighters left the scene at around 9pm, the spokesperson confirmed.

Hide AdThe cause of the fire is under investigation and there is no information yet about the extent of the damage caused to the pub, said the spokesperson.
Sussex Police confirmed that they were called to assist the fire service at the scene.
