Sompting Community Week offers free family fun

This year’s Sompting Community Week features craft, games, sports, music, quizzes, youth activities, bingo, film nights and food, all free.
The first Sompting Community Week was held in August 2013, with fun and games for all ages, and it was so successful, the church decided to make it an annual event.

Hide AdThis year’s programme of activities at Sompting Recreation Ground, in Loose Lane, Sompting, begins on Wednesday and runs to Sunday, from 10am onwards.
Afternoon events include Zoo For You on Thursday, 1pm to 3pm, and a cream tea on Friday at 3pm.
Saturday is a Family Sports Day, with teams of up to 10 people, which must include chilcren, able to register at 10am.
There will be face painting and inflatables, plus a free barbecue is included for all participants.

Hide AdA Service on the Green will be held on Sunday at 10.30am, followed by coffee and doughnuts at midday.
