Emergency services were out this morning on a search and rescue mission near Newhaven.
Teams were seen in Rottingdean this morning (October 1). A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Police, supported by HM Coastguard and Newhaven RNLI, carried out an area search after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman in Rottingdean around 5.20am on Saturday (October 1). The woman was later found safe and the search was stood down.”
