Scouts' river challenge
The Scouts were kayaking River Tarn within the Tarn Gorge, based at Payreleau, near Millau – a centre of deep gorges and canyons.
Kayaking on white water down the River Tarn was indeed a challenge, followed by an 11km. canoe paddle down the same river, encountering fast rapids.

Hide AdThen the Scouts donned harnessing and hard hats, and venturedup the trees at the Acrobranche,
They followed walkways, zip lines and an obstacle course, ascending up to 15 metres, travelling back and forth over the river on long wires in a time of two hours to complete the course.
A visit was also made to Aqualand, a water park on the Mediterranean coast.
Seventeen Scouts and Explorer Scouts, Leaders and a number of parents returned to little Common having unforgettable memories of their trip to France.
