Lollipop man at Circus Street after calls from residents
The Circus Street developer said residents had asked for this support, and working with the Brighton and Hove City Council, U+I was able to support the position to cover the busiest times of day, between 8am and 10am in the morning and 3pm and 5pm in the evening on the junction between Morley Street and Circus Street.
The man who got the job, Ben Caesar Ajani, has lived in the city for over 25 years, and is a part-time traffic marshal on the Circus Street construction site.

The £130 million redevelopment of the Circus Street is set to see 142 new homes, 450 student bedrooms and 30,000 sq ft of office and workshop space, in the project by U+I and Brighton and Hove City Council.
Developers said work on the site is 'progressing fast' and the majority of the buildings on site should be complete in 2019.
