Increase in entries for Sussex Heritage Awards scheme
The Sussex Heritage Trust said it was delighted with the number of entries in its 17th contest.
It added there had been a fantastic response across both East and West Sussex.

Hide AdAwards chairman Dr John Godfrey said: “We are delighted with the number of entries for this year’s Sussex Heritage Trust Awards.
“We hope that this is indicative of the forecast upward economic trend nationally and signals the emerging recovery of the construction industry, following the 2008 financial crisis.”
The annual Sussex Heritage Trust Awards is the only scheme of its kind operating throughout the whole of East and West Sussex.
Entries are open to owners, architects and contractors, as well as societies, surveyors and anyone involved in restoration and construction.

Hide AdWinners receive a hand-crafted slate plaque which can be attached to the project.
The winners will be announced on Thursday July 9 at 12.30pm at Pangdean Old Barn in Pyecombe. Prizes will be presented by the President of Sussex Heritage Trust Lord Egremont.
