Five year old Zach takes the plunge

Zach started swimming lessons at Freedom Leisure Rye Pool when he was four and a half and has attained Amateur Swim Association Levels 1/2/3.
His dad David said: “He asked if he could do the Swimathon so we checked the details and spoke with his swim teachers who think he is clearly capable of completing the 1.5km (60 x 25m) lengths.

Hide Ad“He has over the last few weeks been training with ASA Level 5/6/7 students and last week completed 27 x 25m lengths in 30 minutes. The week before he completed 26.
