The emergency services have closed a Bognor Regis road as they deal with an ongoing incident.

The A259 Chichester Road has been closed in both directions between the junction with Central Avenue and Rowan Way, according to Arun Police.

Images from the scene show multiple police vehicles and South East Coast Ambulance Service on the scene.

Travellers are advised by police to find an alternative route.

A spokesman for Sussex Police confirmed officers are assisting the ambulance service with a 'medical incident'.
