Beeding and Bramber show receives high number of entries
A search of the records found that it was the highest number since 1997 when there were 112 entries.
In fact, numbers had reached a low of 38 in 2007 and have been climbing ever since – except for last year when the show had to be cancelled altogether because of the extreme weather.

Hide AdWinner of the Spring Show Cup, with the most points in the show, was Alisdair MacCulloch.
Charles Ashby took the Vincent Cup for the best exhibit in the show.
Mr Ashby was also awarded the Hilda Phillips Cup for the best entry in Class 9 which is for nine blooms of narcissi of one variety.
In the children’s section, Brooke Wells, nine, was the winner of the Spring Flower arrangement, while Finlay Smith, three, won a prize for the birthday card he entered.
His brother Fraser, six, claimed second place.
