Art work on show at top gallery
Abigail Thompson and Charlotte Reddie, both Year 12 art students at Felpham Community College, were selected to exhibit self-portraits at the National Students’ Art Exhibition at the Mall Galleries.
With work submitted for selection from schools from around the country, both girls were invited to exhibit this year and attended the official opening by artist, singer and public speaker, Henry Olonga.

Works by two other students, Fiona Burford, Year 12, and Alex Droupin, Year 13, were also submitted and, while not selected, were highly commended by the judging panel.
Further works have since been on display at the college’s annual summer arts evening which saw creativity and imagination celebrated across art, photography, media, design and technology, creative writing, music and drama.
