WHEN creative schoolgirl Emily Twinn-Dorey saw the news that a paper Olympic torch, made by a five-year-old from Somerset, had sold for more than £2,000 for charity on eBay, she had a brainwave.

The seven-year-old River Beach Primary School pupil, from Littlehampton, decided to try her luck at designing her own torch, all to help local charity Jamie’s Wish.

And it’s proven a smash hit having already reached almost £80 since it was put up on the online auction site, on Saturday afternoon (July 7).
