A village pub near Horsham has announced it is ‘closed until further notice’.
The Hen and Chicken, in Worthing Road Southwater, made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday, July 21.
A spokesman added: “Thank you for your support and hopefully the Hen and Chicken will remain as a village pub.”
The building has existed for over 250 years and has been a public house for the last 160 years, according to the pub’s website.
