MUSICIANS from The West Sussex County Youth Orchestra have won a prestigious national award which will see them perform alongside one of the world’s leading orchestras.

The orchestra, which is West Sussex Music Service’s flagship ensemble, has been granted the Music for Youth National Partnership Award.

The award is sponsored by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and - as part of their prize - the Youth Orchestra will perform side-by-side with the LPO at one of their concerts at the Royal Festival Hall.
